real quick...

Just a quick little update. Visited Ayden on sunday. I didn't get to spend a ton of time with him as I needed to help my sister in law with some errands. But, things are more or less the same. He gained a little weight, but then lost a few ounces. They took out his new feeding tube because they needed to do some testing on his stomach. As of yesterday he only had the feeding tube in his stomach (not the one into his intestines). He's getting plenty to eat but he's throwing it back up, hence the weight loss. Unfortunately the people who put in the tubes were gone for the weekend, so they weren't able to put it back in.

I believe he'll be having surgery some time this week to help with that. I'm not 100% on the details, but it involves stapling his stomach to his esophagus or something. A feeding tube will be inserted so that he can be fed through a syringe. Eventually when his stomach heals he'll be able to actually eat. I'm guessing the basic idea is to get his stomach healed and reflux under control. I'm not real sure. My details suck this week, I know.

There's so much going on outside of Ayden being in the hospital that it's hard to focus on anything. We're moving and we've barely packed any. Did I mention we're moving on the 30th? Then there's other issues going on regarding my father and my brother...and blah. Those are issues I can't get in to on the internet, as I've mentioned, but needless to say I'm quite stressed.

so yeah, that's it. Hopefully I'll get better info on possible surgery soon.
