Feeling a little bloggy, but I'm not real sure what I want to write about.

Was thinking of going outside to write since it looks really lovely out there, but my allergies are hurting every fiber of my being today. Also it's a little warmer than it's been all week and frankly I enjoy the air conditioning better. Working in a hot warehouse makes me not want to be hot during the weekend.

I really need to see an allergist about my allergies, but I don't have the money. Since it's feeling like the season may possibly want to become fall at some point, my allergies have gone haywire. I wake up with a headache usually, my face hurts, my ears are all clogged up and I spend the whole day sneezing. OTC allergy pills help a little, but not much. It would probably be helpful to find out exactly what it is that I'm allergic to, though I'm guessing it's just seasonal stuff like pollen and grass and what not.

The scenery here is really nice, but it's generally not enjoyable because of the sweltering humidity during the summer and the horrible horrible allergens. I should want to go outside more often, but not when you can practically see all the shit floating around in the air. All the stuff that's going to get in my nostrils and make me sneeze and give me terrible sinus headaches. Also, Fun Fact: Louisville was the hottest city in the country this summer. Lucky me!

At any rate, I guess I can just look out the window and pretend it's nice outside. I really wish it would have been nice today like it was on thursday. I don't think it even got into the 80s and there was very little humidity. My kind of day. I sat inside work all day, attempting to enjoy the occasional breeze that drifted through the open bays of the warehouse, while trying to keep myself from setting the place on fire just so that I could leave. That's not a good sign, is it?

I really should get off my butt and get in the shower, but I'm feeling lazy. Mostly because of this headache I have. At some point though, I need to be presentable. We're going to the movies a little later this afternoon with our friends to see The Expendables. I don't particularly care about this movie since it's one of those giant explosion/men being manly men movies, but it's a chance to get out of the house, so whatever. We'll probably have to eat while we're out since we practically have no food in the house as it stands (grocery shopping hasn't gotten done either.) After the movie we're having several people over tonight for the weekly podcast. This week it's a ladies' round table featuring myself and a handful of our lady friends. Mike and our room mate Aaron will be moderating of course and we'll talk about a variety of women's issues. I think it'll be interesting. While we're not terribly diverse when it comes to age or ethnicity, I do know that my friends and I do take different stances when it comes to politics.

If you care to listen to it, or the other podcasts that they've done, you can go to SOLDOUTcast or find them on iTunes or Zune Marketplace (for free, of course.) I guess it would be geared toward people our age (20s and 30s) who are nerds and enjoy pop culture? They generally interview people and talk about current events and movies and stuff that happens in our circle of friends. Not for everyone, but entertaining I think. If anything, you should check out SOLDOUTcast the Movie Part 1 and SOLDOUTcast the Movie Part 2. Our friend John wrote them both and we read them I guess like a radio play. Mike put in a combined 20 hours of editing into both podcasts, to boot. So you should listen!

Anywho, this has gotten way off track...though to be fair I really had no point to this other than to kill some boredom. So I guess I'll shut up.

If you get a chance, please do me a favor and go to youtube and watch Martin Luther King's 'I have a dream' speech. Today marks the 47th anniversary of the speech. Please remind yourself of what the civil rights movement really meant.
